14 yrs since I saw you….except in my dreams… hugged you, heard your laughter, saw your smile, kissed you, heard your voice… in person... touched your soft brown hair, caressed your check, said I Love You and you told me back….2 days before. 14 yrs since I clutched your hand, sobbing in misery and disbelief, chest hurting, heart breaking, told your body it was okay to go…because your soul had already taken flight…and that I’d see you again in Paradise one day….14 yrs… yet an eternity…

My Mama, her Nana, wrote this poem about a month after Lauren left this earth. I’m sure they are having great talks, hugging and laughing together in Paradise. One day Mama and Lauren…one day. It will be in the blink of an eye for y’all…but it’s already been an eternity for me. Love and miss you both. 🤍🤍
